Re: SCS Blog discussion

That phrase I copied was in the blog post from SCS.. I found it kinda interesting to put it here :P Best way to avoid confusion on what you say or what you are quoting of other people is to use the quote code, you can even customise it, look at your previous post now that I've edited it to see what...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

No worries, I'm not trying to beat down on your idea, just offering a different perspective, two boxes could indeed be feasible, one with a EU style lever park brake (tough titties 2012 Volvo and Renault T fans) and one with the red and yellow valve buttons for the US market, but I still wouldn't bu...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

Only two? but what if the EU one has Scania style switches, that will break my immersion in my DAF, and what about MB Actros fans? so we need 4 boxes for ATS and 12 (off the top of my head) boxes for all the Euro variants, and what if I'm the type of player that likes to swap and change trucks as I ...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

a USB button box customised especially for the games [...] collection of real life buttons And there inherently lies the problem, to what specification do they build them? US, EU, what brand do they emulate? It's all well and good making a button box but to make it suit all tastes, brands and conti...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

So unless SCS wanted to build something like this... My point exactly, SCS could have built something far less 'throw you about like a roller coaster ride' with a gear shifter (though not from CSIO as it'd be the 2020 convention and races before/if they arrived) instead of paddles, and attached a b...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

For me there is no problem how the seat look I'm not talking about how the seat looks, it's how everything is set up. What did you expect, it was a truck racing event, so the majority had to be truck racing fans . Irrelevant, were there trucks racing around Gamescom too? If you'd care to look at th...

Re: SCS Blog discussion

What is extremely saddening is SCS had the money, obviously the software and the opportunity to set this sim trailer up as a proper truck driving experience and yet opted for a "race sim" set up.. Maybe they need to look at the front cover of the DVDRom box sometime?
