I too have the Elite Pad and love it. Don't use any of the additional extras from a normal X Box One controller, but the build quality is superb. If you have the cash then I'd recommend you get one.

The only complaint I have is the rubber grips on the rear, after a period of time they start to stretch and come loose. You can replace them but they are costly. I've stuck mine back on with super glue and bought a silicone glove for the controller to stop them coming off again.

I'm using the Playstation 3 gamepad with ScpToolkit. It acts like a XBOX 360 gamepad but it works fine. As well with force feedback.

I got this one for PC

Cheaper than a normal Xb1 pad, but just as good. Its what I use atm.

@oggich

I appreciate that budget may be an issue and that you may have other reasons for not wanting a XBox 360/One controller etc. but I would seriously consider at least an XBox One controller. They are really worth what you pay and if looked after, do last a while before they need replacing, with this longevity in mind, it may be worth spending a little more now sort of speak.

I paid a ridiculous amount of money for my XBox Elite Controller, but the quality of the product and that fact it's still working flawlessly after around 3-4 years means that it's been an excellent purchase and I absolutely love it.

Xbox One pads are more then worth their money, i still have the Day One pad for use on my PC and it works without problems and it is almost 6 years old

and with the addition of the Chat Pad you barely even need the keyboard anymore another pro is that you can use any USB to Micros USB cable to use it, the Xbox 360 one needs a special cable i think or a special controller with hardwired connection

Do controllers have proper engine vibration yet or do I still need that driver hack?

Hi everyone,

first post here. :o

I've a similar question about this. In general the Force Feedback is working, but only for bumpy roads or obstacles / crashes. Is it possible to also have Force Feedback while driving, steering, changing gears and so on?
I already put all the Force Feedback sliders to "max" in Options.

Is there a way to increase the Force Feedback even further by editing some .cfg file? What is this driver hack?

Thanks alot, keep on trucking,
