Hello,
I want to buy a cheap joystick for FSX and I wonder I can use it on ETS2/ATS either? The thing I want to do is;
+ Use Joystick for only steering, for throttle and break I want to use keyboard.
+ Can I assign buttons on joystick as retarder up/down or shift up/down ?
And also do you suggest any joystick model? I prefer to be cheap and multi-buttons.
Thank you.
I got a concern about joystick

Re: I got a concern about joystick
I always recommend Logitech controllers. I got a Attack 3 joystick from Amazon for $15.00 a few years ago. But now they're really expensive for some odd reason. So I suggest the Extreme 3D Pro Joystick instead. It has 12 action buttons, an eight-way hat switch, and a trigger, all of which can be set any way you like through (most) games or the Logitech Profiler.
But for driving, gamepads are much better than joysticks. So I would also suggest that you get a Logitech Gamepad F310. I got mine for $10.00 and I used it with ETS2 for over a year.

Why do you say "unfortunately" if you loved it? If you're happy with it, I don't see that as being unfortunate at all...
