Xbox Controller use in 1.7

#1 Post by Tom_boy_96 » 29 Oct 2013 13:11

So ive been playing euro truck for a while and bought it through steam a while ago. I used to use my Windows Xbox Controller for euro truck and it worked fine. But when the game got to 1.5 i think it was. The triggers LT and RT werent supported for throttle and brake. Am i doing something wrong or is it just not supported. I have the latest xbox driver installed and am using Windows 7 64-bit. Any more info needed i can give. Thanks very much!

I have mine set up with triggers for throttle and brake. It works just fine.

Make sure you use the correct controller subtype and that your accelerator is set to "Inverted Centered" and your brake axis to centered.

thanks very much but it still doesnt seem to be working. All the settings are as you said but it just seems to want to use the left joystick as the throttle and not the triggers still.

Click the buttons above where you set the centered etc options. And press the triggers on your gamepad. It should now say something different. This is how you bind your axes to throttle/brake and steering etc etc.
