I would like to use my OSW with ATS as well. I am assuming ATS has the same issue...

Was this ever solved? Now that my force feedback shifter is in the final planning stages I’m considering an upgrade to my G27 by also using a better wheel.

As the problem is outside of SCS's direct control i don't think it was solved on this end no. That's an issue for OSW and it's drivers to solve. If it doesn't implement DirectInput correctly then it's not going to work with this game.
On extended hiatus.

This thread is outdated - it most likely concerns original OSW project, which utilized Berhard Berger's API implementation, or an early version of the MMOS firmware for SMT32F4 Discovery -based OSW's that utilized Granite Devices Argon or IONICUBE servo drives.

In 2016, we implemented an all-in-one Simucube product, and in 2017, released the first working bespoke FFB firmware for it.

ETS2 works just fine with up-to-date (last released) versions of MMOS, and also our Simucube Firmware works just fine with it.

How about ATS? My Simucube gets zero ffb at all in game.
