I was starting to have crashes in-game on 1.41 while driving and haven't crashed since disabling the plugin.
Maybe it needs to be updated?

Well, what kind of crashes? This plugins uses very stable APIs and is unlikely to fail any time soon. It's more likely that the game needs to be updated.

I don't mean to accuse, but people have been saying the same thing for years without an update, and still it seems to be working. (well, last time I played, at least)

uncontinueable exception that only happens when this plugin is used.

if it's so "stable", why can't it stay running through an alt+tab, why does it cause the wheel to become disconnected from G-Hub upon shutting the game down, and why does it crash the game if you reset it more than once or twice?

i say it's flaky, not worth the trouble, and that it needs some attention.

What is the exact error you get, and when does it happen?

Sure, it has some "peripheral issues", if you will, but as far as it's primary intended purpose goes it is stable. Can't say I've experienced the crash on reset myself.

Which wheel are you using? From what I've seen people usually recommend that you use the old Logitech Gaming Software rather than G-Hub, but not sure if that applies to wheels other than the G27.

I have already read several times here in the forum in other topics that users have problems with the new G-Hub!
with G-Hub, some steering wheels or the game seem to have real problems that they don't have with the old Logitech Gaming Software!

My steering wheel (G27) is working with the plugin for many years and game versions without any problems ! and I hope it will continue to work like this for many years to come, because I don´t want to be without this plugin :)
I can Alt-Tab and reset a hundred times without a crash,no problems with connecting/disconnecting...

@Lightning61 maybe you can try it once with the old Logitech Gaming Software(if this works with your steering wheel) :)

GHub works just fine with my G29 in all of my other driving/racing titles, and I used to use this plugin with my G27 without major issues.

Reverting to the old software isn't worth the trouble for one title, and my CSL DD will be here in less than two months anyway.

It can't be expected of Logitech and SCS to recode to cater to a plugin's compatibility. That's on the author of the plugin.

I've tweaked the vanilla FFB settings enough to be satisfied until the new wheel gets here.

@Leen
Possible issues that I've had in the past:
  • sdk reload in the console
.Net and C++ libraries being installed as per the first post (try reinstall?)
check order of USB devices (I have a plugin to force the order of USB devices, you can also do trial and error by connecting devices in different order)
try running ONLY the G27 and temporarily remove any other USB game controllers
I've never been able to have the FFB plugin working on a brand new profile - Had to disable it and complete the intro mission, install after getting to your own garage

SDK reload I did a several times no luck

.Net and C++ libraries being installed as per the first post (try reinstall?) I havn't try this one gonna do it later today

Ordering the USB devices I don't thing this is the issue because it works for a long time like this and sudden it stops working.

Without the T_LCM pedals I can't drive :D

Update; tried everything nothing seems to solved the problem and without this plugin the FFB is horrible
