Updating the retail game

I have question about update. I have original game but i dont buy it on steam, so when come new update do i need to download it or my game will automatically have it.

When the retail version is ready it will be uploaded here

The SCS blog will announce when it's ready ;)

I know this is an old topic.
I just wanted to add that you can also use the online updater to update the game.
New trucks for ETS2 and ATS
