Covered / risked names on road signs

#1 Post by dsf.fernando » 26 Sep 2020 20:36

In almost all DLCs, and even in the base game, some places are mentioned in the road signs, but not accessible (yet)

Trieste in Italia. Reggio Calabria is also mentioned in signs near Villa San Giovanni

Grodno (Belarus) in the Baltic Sea DLC. Moscow in Russia and Jyvaskyla in Finland also are shown in similar fashion in signs.

Yambol in the Black Sea DLC. In Romania, some blackened signs point to existent cities.

Other places behind blackened signs like the Trieste ones are Lübeck and Rendsburg in Germany.

Are those places planned to be added in future versions of ETS2? If not, why are those places mentioned in signs?
Proud student of Games and Multimedia in the Polytechnic of Leiria - the Portuguese capital of game development
(and still hopeful the city will feature in the game with a garage someday)

because there are on the signs in real life also ? and SCS just covered them with tarp, or now with the red bar because you cant access them in the game or for future proving to DLCs in some cases

These can be noticed everywhere around any part of the map, some are completely covered just so that there's no chance you would know what's under, but some of these are readable. SCS maybe planning to add these cities to the game, well I at least know that they would do Moscow for sure. :)
