ETS2 Button Box [Android, iOS & WPhone - Win, Mac & Linux]
Re: ETS2 Button Box [Android, iOS & WPhone - Win, Mac & Linu
Wow! I see what you did there. Awesome stuff kokkie20! I'd love to use your icons, if possible. That was more code, what you did, but way more elegant then what I came up with. Cool stuff.
It's really awesome to have other people sorting stuff out. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with. Last weekend I couldn't actually put my hands on anything. I played one ArmA 3 mission and that was it. I hope this weekend I can code something for mine.
Kudos!

Link to mine:

Screenshots:

NOTE: I adjusted a lot of buttons in my config to own use, as i don't use keyboard for my ETS2 (Using g27) i got a lot of buttons normal users have setted up as buttons for giving gas, turn left etc. I have them as example retarder increase/decrease, cruise control increase/decrease
U can change the buttons to your own likings in: "remote.lua"
Just find the correct button row and button number (i ordered them) so u can easy find it.
What will u find in my zip file:
- Same remote folder as the OP had
- Folder with empty buttons (so u can add/change new ones )
- Screenshot image
Your also free to use/change it, just keep the comments please in the top of the remote.lua file.
Enjoy and thanks again a lot to: mizifih

Holy $hi*! Really awesome! Hey, put your name there dude, on the zip file, credit is all yours, you made it, I had nothing to do with it
I'll link your post in my OP. I'm amazed, that was pretty much what I planned to do with images. And you mixed it very well with buttons/text. It's really cool to see that it's possible to add more images, as you have more space horizontally. Does it fit the screen ok vertically?
Can you take a screenshot on your device (not a picture of it), so I can place it in my OP next to your link? I recommend you place it at imgur.
Thanks for sharing it with us

I second that. I have no idea how to load your layout. The server runs fine and the app on my android runs fine. I can use it, but I don't know how to load your layout?????????
Re: ETS2 Button Box [Android, iOS & WPhone - Win, Mac & Linu
@juneau78 & @AnimateDeath
Look where the server are installed and find where the remotes that came with the program are.
In Windows by default it is at:
C:\ProgramData\Unified Remote\Remotes\Custom
Is a hidden file, you must change Win proprieties to show hidden files.
Place the new layout there (Remotes\Custom) then it will available to use.

Re: ETS2 Button Box [Android, iOS & WPhone - Win, Mac & Linu
I believe it depends on what Windows version you have.
What version of the Server you install? You should install the Beta V3.0.
I suggest to reinstall and then find where the server places the regular remote files that came with him.
On Win 8.1 is the location I mentioned before.

@OSCOZ Thanks for that. I wasn't using the beta server, works like a charm now.
What an awesome thing this is! I have it running on my old HP touchpad. I had given up on even using it anymore, now it is going to be dedicated to my ETS2 stuff. Awesome.
