TrackIR 5 Pro problem

Hey Ladles and jellyspoons,

Had an issue develop all of a sudden the other day that my TrackIR is no longer recognizing ETS2, The Track clip Pro (the one with the built in LED's) and the camera/sensor appear to be working and the NaturalPoint software appears to be running correctly and as expected with the left hand green LED illuminated (I can see all my movements tracking correctly within the program software) It's just when I fire ETS2 up it no longer illuminates the right hand green LED that shows its recognized a compatible game.

Problem is that I haven't got any other game installed atm that uses TrackIR (I will probably end up re-installing Arma III later to test it if I haven't figured a solution before that)

This problem first happened whilst I was still on Win 10 64bit but I have since gone back to a clean install of Win 7 64bit due to Nvidia surround spanning issues with Win 10, but a clean O.S. install on a formatted SSD and re-install of all drivers and software still didn't cure the problem, it also developed after an update of a closed Beta build, so if any Devs read this could there be an issue developed in 1.20.0.6s?

Peripherals I'm currently running are:

TrackIR 5 Pro (obviously)
Logitech G27
Corsair K95 rgb Keyboard
Corsair Vengeance M60 laser Mouse
Also a 2nd Generic plug n play mouse

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I had this problem once when exchanging the USB port which TrackIR was using. Never understood why but my TrackIR only works fine on the USB port where was first installed

Solved it by using older software/drivers I was using 5.2.2 Final and had been ever since I bought it (the drivers haven't been updated since Feb 2013) and decided to try 5.1 Final and it's working again, what I'll do now is update tthe drivers one patch at a time and see if it still works..

Edit & Final conclusion:

Upgraded all the way back up to 5.2.2 (6 separate installers in all) and yep it's still working, I know it's easy to say "well it was obvious it was software/driver related" but I uninstalled and re-installed the TrackIR software with at least one fresh downloaded installer from their own site, and bear in mind this just suddenly happened whilst I was using Win 10 and have since reformatted my drive and put a clean install of Win 10 on and then decided to revert back to Win 7 so I reformatted and clean installed again, so to think that this "bugged"? copy of the NaturalPoint software/drivers managed to survive and persist through all that baffles me, it seems the only thing that cured it was installing an old obsolete (2011) version of their software.

Conclusion:
I hate computers they suck muuhaassive balls
