Easy for someone who know's what to do   ;)

me, haven't got the grasp on this software yet,
however successfully added advanced trailer coupling to a couple of mods I'm using and simply updated some old formats by importing and exporting them
THANKS to great tutorials.....

ATS-trailer

this simple task I cannot see how - it might be just infront of me, but every time exported it's as it never been touched.
it seems the original author (B4RT) isn't reading what's reported on the downloadsite ( I believe he has a FBpage where all things should/could be dressed) ...I'm no FB-guy :P

to the task i have been struggling with... as I have managed to do some ATC I thought I could "fix" this trailer Mac Curtain Multiaxles

4 different trailers ...ONE is a problem child  :P
in the game the trailer is sunken into theground unable to get hooked....
this is the look in the trailerbrowser, one can see there is something wrong ....and when opened in Blender the same look appears compared with the other perfect ones

[ external image ][ external image ][ external image ]__THE BAD ONE -->>__[ external image ]

this - one of the GOOD ones... (4,5 and 6-axles) they all appear as this in Blender

...and this is the NOT so good....

One can see the BAD one is below the grid when imported, I assumed it was an easy fix - only adjust level and export ;)

the laughs on me...but what to do - is it fixable :?:

@StereoPhobic: The simplest way I know to reload (refresh) a texture from its file (if you don't want to open the UV/Image editor) is pressing the "Reload ..." button in the textures properties tab:

See the red circle in the right side. Select the texture you want and press that button.

https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3 ... Map_Basics

there are many, many more tutorials. all it takes is to read and try them. only after that you can dive into making mods involving 3D modeling.

if there are still questions, I will be more than happy to address them :)

I have a problem.
I use Blender and blender2SCS.
When I use the function "Tris to Quads" (Alt + J), and make export and import .pmd - mesh is like a blank ??
Is there a modifier - how triangulate ?? - it works.
Sorry for my English.

GamerHacker, depends on the type of collison you are making. For signs, trucks, trailers, AI cars and vegetation which create a .pmc file, look here.

For anything else (models, prefabs, buildings) just create another mesh that should be used as the collsion, then create an SCS Part called 'coll' and put the mesh there. (The mesh won't be rendered game, material and UV mapping doesn't matter)

EDIT:

Shadows are done the same way as I've just described with collisions, but the mesh should be simplified and should be kept in default part and the shader should be set to 'shadowonly'. (Most shadows are done like this, although there are alternatives - search for shadow on this page. ;)
