Texture problems
Texture problems
So, after completing a few loads, the game starts to change the colour of the textures to a rainbow-ish pixelated one. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there any solution to it? This goes for both ETS2 and ATS.

Re: Texture problems
It seems that you have DirectX9. I think the game runs on DirectX11 now.
No worries though, when you launch the game, it should bring a pop-up. One option should be "Launch DX9". Click it, and launch. See if that fixes any issues. Also, be sure to not use any mods that require DX11...

Re: Texture problems
No, the game doesn't run yet on Dx11.
Also make sure that all mods are up to date and they are compatible with the version of the game you use. In each patch, SCS changes something for the improvement of their game, so it is possible that with old mods or mods that didn't have been upgraded, some issues will appear.

Re: Texture problems
These funny patterns occur when a texture doesn't have mipmaps -tiny low-rez versions of the same picture, to be used from several distances. Mod-issue.

Re: Texture problems
The images don't have mipmaps...
Edit: Ya beat me to it, Reinhard! I hate being a slow typist.

2. Windows has ALL DX versions since 9 build in there is no need to install something
he has Windows 10, so he has DX12 wich can handle DX9 programs fine

Re: Texture problems
To remove the rainbow on the EAA map helped me disable the files (material\environment):
chrom.dds
vehicle_reflection.dds
chrom.dds
vehicle_reflection.dds
