RESOLVED - Texture no Load (Blender Tools)

#1 Post by GerardoLucero507 » 16 Oct 2017 05:25

Hello! I am starting to use the SCS Blender Tools and I see videos of how to import and that, but I have a problem, in the videos it shows that you can change the paintjob to see how it is, the problem is that I try to do the same thing but I skip the error of the following image:

I await the response of your help and many thanks

At the end of the last week, the SCS Blender tools and the Conversion Tools have been updated to new versions which are compatible with Blender 2.79. You have them updated? Open the paintjob_001_daf.tobj file and refer to the correct image.

Reading the console I get this:

Note that I use the ConverterPIXWrapper to import the models

As you can see there is problem in the paintjob tobj not being converted. So one solution is load dds directly to preview it, another one is that you converter whole base with ConverterPIX somewhere else on the disc and reference it from there.

So even though I have the ConverterPIX Wrapper I need to extract the base with the normal ConverterPix?

No and yes. If you want to use paintjob textures inside blender then yes. Or you can make TOBJ by yourself referencing dds texture.

As you see import was successful however linking any other texture that was not yet converted won't succeed. You must know that ConvertPIX Wrapper converts only data that is needed for import ;)

bro i need a help. can anyone solve this problem?

""Texture file '' from material 'alfo.002' doesn't exists inside current Project Base Path.
TOBJ won't be exported and reference will remain empty, expect problems!""
