Is there a way to play on 2560x1440 with both truck mirrors ?
Is there a way to play on 2560x1440 with both truck mirrors ?
HI,
I play the game with a 2560x1440 resolution on a 25 " monitor.
Is there a way to get the "interior front view" smaller so that i could see both truck mirror.
Yes I could use the right HUD mirror but that doesn't fit "optically" well.
Thanks and Keep trucking ...

Try pressing the F4 key while inside the truck till you see the Seat adjustment like pictured below. Set the adjustments (especially field of view, N/M keys) and I think you'll get it.

FOV settings may not be enough 2560x1440 is just another 16:9 screen, not a ultra wide screen.

Just did it here playing at 1920x1080 and it's kinda possible, but driving became a lot more challenging

Meh, I use FOV 50 to make it realistic proportions and speed, this is spaceship to me, but if he likes it that way...
Re: Is there a way to play on 2560x1440 with both truck mirrors ?
It's weird looking, indeed. The only other option I can think of is the use of a custom screen resolution via config.cfg but that would end up in either black bars at top and bottom of screen or stretched (and thus distorted) image.
The above view was a result of many adjustments besides FOV, anyway. So maybe Stilgar can find a setting that's to his liking.

Re: Is there a way to play on 2560x1440 with both truck mirrors ?
thanks for all the answers but i'll stick with the normal view.
I was thinking more about a FOV 80 view to get a good look at the dashboard and have to the mirrors visible.
So i have to think about a 2 monitor setup or forget the idea.

Hey it's not THAT bad. Now if only I could drive one entire kilometer without multiple mass crashings...

Multimon or ultrawide 23:9: multimon is cheaper. I use two monitors and can see both side truck mirrors and nice windshield fov. nVidia GTX-640; effective screen is 2640x1024 (bezel corrected). Zoom to read dash.
