Re: How to increase scailing to 800?
You can't. Given that scaling simply changes the initial calculated resolution, you've likely got a settings issue somewhere else.
What's your base resolution set to?
What are your graphics options set to?

400% scaling should do the trick but what are your monitor resolution?
In case you have an nvidia card, try this

you can get to 800% or even 1000% via the config file, done it myself. BUT it wont get any prettier instead it become grainy and dont throw any benefits and it only sets your PC on fire. the nvidia profile inspector is the only way of making this game looking sharp, like plykkegaard is refering too.
pro tip: lower your FOV

Can you give me/us a profile ? Everything i tried till now is not working on DX11. Also the AA-workaround from roextended.ro is not working for me. The game is so looking outwashed with jagged lines, and shimmering textures - my eyes hurts and im close to getting eyecancer. Nice that, SCS seems do deal with that.Truckdrivr wrote: ↑19 Jun 2021 14:13 you can get to 800% or even 1000% via the config file, done it myself. Went back to freakin 1.35 version, just to get better AA again.
Re: How to increase scaling to 800?
@johnny_91 You're probably doing something wrong. What are your PC specs? I can send you my own settings where everything is running smoothly at 60FPS (V-sync On), but settings I use will work perfectly only on similar configuration that I have. That's why I'm asking.
Having this said, I have probably touched every possible setting of the game to get the perfect balance. So, setting only NPI will not produce perfect results. You need to do a lot more, even to your Windows settings, not just the game itself.

Nvidia GTX 1070
16Gb Ram
Saw your videos. Hope it gonna looks like this after the adjustments.

@johnny_91
Here you can download my custom NPI settings Euro_Truck_Simulator_2.nip. I think this will work well in your case too**.
Next, you need to change game's config.cfg. Here is my own config.cfg. Notice that in case you get low FPS with these settings, the only lines you need to change in this file are:
-nointro -unlimitedlog -mm_pool_size 6000 -mm_max_resource_size 44 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 484
Next, download and install Multimon config:
Finally, go to your settings in game and change (if needed) to match the following:

**Optionally, if you're still having lower FPS, change the following in NPI:
TIPS: Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed. Note that every time you update your graphics drivers, you need to re-apply NPI settings. Make sure also to optimize and de-bloat your Windows in the best way possible. You can find those tutorials on Youtube as well. It is extremely important that your game runs on SSD. Running it on regular HDD will have an extreme impact on game's performance.
I may have forgotten to write some setting here, but if I remember, I'll update the post here.
Anyway, this RoExtended post is golden resource for setting up the game, but you have to find your own sweet spot like I did tweaking these settings:

- For single monitor: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Nv2yaf ... B_0w-/view
- After unpacking the ZIP you should have a multimon_config.sii file.
- For DUAL, TRIPLE and QUAD setups, check this post by JHTrucker for instructions on how to adjust your setup:
Multi Monitor AA - Setup guide: https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.p ... 368#p17368 - Place the multimon_config.sii file in the same folder, where you have your global config.cfg file.
- Additional non standard screen configurations to try later, after basic setup: https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.p ... 658#p17658
- turn OFF XBOX Game Bar
- turn OFF Background Game Recording
- turn ON Game mode
- turn ON Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling
- in Graphics performance preference add your ETS2.exe file and set to High performance
- PCI express / Link state power management: OFF
- Processor power management / Minimum Processor state: 100%
- Processor power management / MaximumProcessor state: 100%
