changing homedir

#1 Post by fajnymarcin0 » 27 Nov 2021 13:10

Sorry for being temporarily dumbfounded. But I changed the lounch setup option to -homedir g: \ 'and the local mods are gone. The steam ones work fine. Can they be restored somehow. I have the game installed on the G drive. I changed the lounch option to get rid of microstuttering. Yes, I know I can go back to defoult options. But what happens to local files when you change boot options. So far, the mods were located in G: \ Users \ martin \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator. :D

you have to copy the modfolder over to the new location, homedir dosnt just change where the game saves, it changes the whole Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder wich includes profiles, mods and other configurations

O.k it was my fault. I forgot to enter the full folder name. Now everything is ok. Thanks xXCARL1992Xx. By the way, can changing the lounch option eliminate microstuttering. What do you think?
