being completely new on using Blender, even after reading all guides on wiki and watching lot of videos on Youtube, only after finding and reading this topic I was able to understand that Blender2SCS used to be a very useful tool of 50keda which now is a dead project due to the new game formats and future development of the official SCS Blender Tools (that I still struggle to make it importing mods into Blender)

open windows console in blender
topleft the menu;
Window>Toggle System Console..
in that window you see all issues for im-port and export.
seeing your screen: I guess, that window shows: 1 of material not found..by import
or model is im port witout materials..

It would be great to import PMG files directly without having to convert them previously, not if it happened to someone else, but when converting the mod to pmg, some accessory positions are sometimes changed to another place in the export. I also think that the system of variants and looks is a bit complicated and I do not know how to do it (it was much easier in blender2scs).
Do you plan to update the plugin with these two options?

Hi All
I have managed to successfully export my model into the game as you can see below:

But now i need to add colour to it because obviously i don't want it to show completely white like it is currently.
But i don't know how to do this can somebody please point me in the right direction?

You have two options obviously:
1. create dds texture for this Statoil sign using some graphics editing software with dds support
[ external image ]
2. or simply use vertex paint to paint this logo on the left (while in object mode press space and type paint, press enter) with solid violet/pink colors
First option gives your model more realistic look, second - much quicker and easier.
You could also improve visual look of your model by applying edge split modifier from modifiers stack. So your model will have sharp edges and proper shading.

I already have dxtbmp which I use for editing dds textures already but how would I apply the dds texture to the actual model?
Also how do I do that edge split modifiers thing you said about? I'm not an expert with Blender yet haha.

Hello can i ask here some information? I have a problem whit my 143m i try to rework the animation, steer wheel is changed must only place on right place. The steering wheel can turn but if i def the pma on the right place where it belong i get a crash bu t i get no error thats made it impossible to find out where i must search...if someone have a solution pease tell me...

Guys, i'm facing an issue on the interior câmera. I've the impression that the câmera is always shaking, have anyone here solved or faced an issue like that??

New addon to import pim files sucks... 80x more difficult to work in blender...
the old addon is much better
I just did not realize one thing, why the mods and the base of the game continues to come in pmd...
