Environmental confusion - Overpasses

#11 Post by Stokowski » 12 Feb 2013 07:57

Since the patch I've noticed that while travelling over some overpasses some elements behave as if the truck were travelling under the overpass. This only seems to occur where there are two drivable roads crossing each other, but I'm not 100% sure of it.
In any case, what happens is all the mirrors dim, as if the truck was in shade, and if it is raining, the rain momentarily stops - as if the truck was travelling under a structure.

rear view mirror bug

#13 Post by COWLI_PD » 12 Feb 2013 13:56

Hi All first of all what an excellent game when my son said he wanted a truck sim I thought that sounds a bit boring but how wrong was I :D

I think I've found a bug I have searched but can't find anything. when you go under a bridge there is shadows and the mirrors dim/get darker this is correct but it also does it when you go over a bridge. not every bridge does this it seems to be the ones that only us can go under.

Bridge Bug

#16 Post by TheETS2Boy » 12 Feb 2013 19:46

Hello. I have noticed a bug in the new 1.3.1 update.
When you drive over a bridge just after you have turned off the highway, quite hard to explain, there is always beeing a slight "shadow" in the mirror.
It's like you're entering a tunnel.
This is happening on every bridge, exept these big ones, the special scenery objetcs. But all other. When you're driving over the highway, when you drive over the bridge that goes just over the highway-exit e.t.c.
It looks quite odd, actually.
Thanks!

So, then SCS team should realise that this is VERY important bug and hurry to repair it and realise 1.3.1.1 patch as soon as posible.

But no, thay will wait to colect more fixes in one big patch...

What are you talking about? They have already fixed some of these prefabs before patch 1.3.0, and they continue to fix rest as they are found.
Please don't put something into peoples head, which you don't know anything about.

It's not a VERY important bug, it's a minor annoyance.

Do you have anger issues? ;)
