lights on central mirror [1918]
lights on central mirror [1918]
I want to report a bug in the DAF truck. It may apply to all but I have seen it in my DAF truck. When switching from normal beam to high beam the lights in the front mirror just disappear.
Also in 1.3.1 when above bridges the mirror is getting darker instead of when underneath them.

Re: lights on central mirror
Please post a screenshot (at a reasonable resolution, please) to show the bug. Maybe make a short movie and upload it to YouTube?
About the darken mirrors, please search the forum before reporting. It has been already reported a hundred times.
Thank you for your efforts.

Front mirror
Found this, viewtopic.php?f=40&t=3148, report from feb, but as it is locked I can't reply to it.
Is it suppose to be fixed as I have the same on the front long mirror on my Scania.

Not fixed yet, just acknowledged.
This is now unlocked, if you have more things to present.

Another thing that I did notice is that the shape of the light when on full beam is a bit strange, (left is low beam - right is full beam).

Re: lights on central mirror [1918]
That is normal.
On some vehicles (don't know if these trucks, too) when you turn the high beam on, the low beam is switched off, giving a different pattern.

As far as I know it's always like that on cars/trucks. When switching on high beam, low beam is switched off and vice versa. You can 'test' the effect of low-beam/high-beam on at the same time in a real life vehicle by activating the overtake flash (temporary high-beam) and holding it while driving in the dark with you low-beam on.

Re: lights on central mirror [1918]
I wrote the wrong mode names, it is suppose to be full and high and nothing else
To go back to the original issue as the OP posted, it doesn't say anything about the use of additional lights. For me the lights disappear in the front mirror when having either front or roof light enabled with high beam.
When having high beam with the additional lights disabled it shows up in the mirror as the image posted.
I still think the shape of the light looks strange, even if switching between modes changes the light, as it doesn't seem to have any blur and just seems to be cut right off diagonally.
Maybe I am just looking at it the wrong way.
