Oculus branch misses binaries

#1 Post by Dorni » 30 Dec 2020 13:07

Hello,

the Oculus branch (the current as well as the oculus_previous) are missing their binaries. Instead of the bin directory, there is only a folder named "EmptySteamDepot".

I saw that this also happened last year with the default branch (viewtopic.php?f=119&t=277445), so maybe this just got overlooked? :)

Thanks in advance

I can confirm that this is an issue with all available oculus-betas. Using Manjaro Linux 20.2 with Budgie Desktop.

@Majkyto, you seem to possess information of when this issue arised previously. Would you mind please looking into it again?

Thanks in advance and thanks for an awesome game!

Quick update on the matter:

I contacted SCS Support directly, and got told that VR support only exists for the Windows build, so I guess we won't get VR for Linux.

The message I received:
Hello,

The VR builds of the game are currently available only on Windows - as such binaries on
Linux will not be present.

Best regards,
SCS Software Tech Support
