Steam or Windows Controller

Hello, what would be best to use on Linux with ETS2 of these: Steam controller or windows xbox 360 controller?
My Flickr! My YT! 8-) I am Always on latest patch.

You can use Xbox360 with vibration and full support to drive ETS2 and ATS.

Steam Controller don't have full support on Linux in SCSGames (Why???), but you can use sc-controller ( https://github.com/kozec/sc-controller ) to emulate a XBOX360 gamepad with High precission camera and then use it to play this games. Whith this option you have an advantage, becouse you can use the right touchpad like a mouse to use the camera, and selecting in menus.

I think that this second option is more complete that use XBOX360 gamepad, although it is more difficult to configure. I used it a long time without problems and was better to me. Now I using a logitech Wheel

thanks, got the xboxdrv running but not all buttons is working on my Manjaro 1701, tryed first with Arch linux and that was a no go, just to get it running ...lol
Any chance you could explain howto install that sc-controller? I mean the command for terminal.

Also, do you get inzane amount of lag in linux? Im getting stuttering like a pain. Almost makes me wanna Not run linux. :cry:

I'm using sc-controller in Ubuntu without problems. I installed using this repos:

In Manjaro or Arch I could not try it. I think that you can quest in this GamingOnLinux forum. There are a lot of sc-controller users that uses Arch distros:

About stuttering, I have a decent framerate (40-60fps) in High settings with a GTX-1050Ti. In certain moments the game stops, I think that the problem is that the game loads another part of the map, but is only a Tenth of a second
