Map editor

#1 Post by Edwin » 14 Mar 2014 00:11

I tried to get into the map editor, but the "edit" command appears to do nothing. Am I correct in assuming that this means that the map editor is not included in the Linux version?

Have you tried to type in "edit europe" in the in-game developer console?

Also make sure that you set the following entries to these values in the config.cfg:
uset g_developer "1"
uset g_console "1"
╔═══╗────╔═╗╔═╗────╔╗
║╔═╗║────║║╚╝║║────║║
║╚═╝╠═╦══╣╔╗╔╗╠══╦═╝╠══╗
║╔══╣╔╣╔╗║║║║║║╔╗║╔╗║══╣
║║──║║║╚╝║║║║║║╚╝║╚╝╠══║
╚╝──╚╝╚══╩╝╚╝╚╩══╩══╩══╝
Don't ask us for a release date; we don't know either.

I tried it exactly like the tutorials on youtube and it didn't do anything. Not even an error.

From the videos it looks very windows specific, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was not included. I just wanted to confirm.

A Linux release before a Mac release. And now a suggestion for the porting of the editor to Linux. Someone at SCS must prefer working with Linux. Nice!
