Force Feedback support
Re: Force Feedback support
You mean ofiicially? Well I guess there will come a time in the future that FFB will be revisited, or not... The point is that current one works, but yeah I agree supric one is more likable

Re: Force Feedback support
Yup that's what I meant. The FFB in a game that has the word 'simulator' in its title is worth a relook, IMO.
What I say is mostly accurate.
If you've PMed me expecting a reply and didn't get one, you've disabled receiving PMs.

Re: Force Feedback support
Sure it is and is on the to do list, but as you may also know there exists one important word: priorities

Re: Force Feedback support
Certainly. Like the heavy duty front bumper for the Scanias (in your profile pic)

Re: Force Feedback support
There should definitely be something done about the lack of it at all on Linux though, it's a bit sub-standard. This plugin does a good job though
Shame about the source, but are you planning on continuing it with the rest of the features? Thanks.

Re: Force Feedback support
@alex: it depends on what I will be able to do in linux. I already looked into the LEDs but it's not that straight forward to implement them, if at all. So not sure how far I will be able to push the plugin

Re: Force Feedback support
I don't think LEDs are particularly important, but the different surface rumbles would be good.
Re: Force Feedback support
@Edwin: yep telemetry is was released for Linux some time ago
Just edited wiki page to make it more obvious: http://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Documen ... /Telemetry

Re: Force Feedback support
Hi, I'm new on the forum; but I have a Logitech Driving Force GT and I'm an ATS and ETS2 gamer on Linux. Also I'm Software Developer (But last year on my job we only use Java), so I may be able to help on testing and/or developping this. Can I help o test it in some way? Thanks in advance ^_^
