Thrustmaster T150 on Linux!

#1 Post by thomasa88 » 08 Sep 2020 17:28

I found out a few days ago that someone is writing a Thrustmaster T150 driver for Linux and it supports force feedback. It works fine with ETS2. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up :).

Hello there,

unfortunately it isn't working for me. I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and in the settings the game finds the steering wheel but it doesn't recognize the inputs. But I think Ubuntu isn't the problem because I tested the wheel with Super Tux Kart for fun and it works (except of the force feedback but I guess the game isn't supporting that.)
But maybe Steam is the problem because it recognizes the T150 as a generic controller.
Is there anything I can do about it?

I'm testing it with the demo because I didn't bought the game yet. First I want to make this steering wheel working. But I doubt that this is the problem.

Not working on Fedora 35. Install went smoothly, but I have the same problem as Bauju, it's not recognized in game and Steam thinks it's "generic controller".

Update: it works in game but the top 180° (the first 90 left and the first 90 right) isn't recognized
