SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Are you trying to create a skin and then export it?
In which case, have you downloaded the most recent XML for that truck off of the discord server? It's a new truck which hasn't been added fully to the latest version.

A question about the Previewer: The latest version of Modstudio2UI.exe works, I can create truck skins with it. But when I go to the SCS Tools menu, click on the 3D Preview, select the base path, and then click on "Launch 3D Preview" I always get the error "ModStudio2Previewer.exe - to run the application, you must install .NET Core". I have installed the 64 bit version of .NET core but the error keeps appearing.
Any clues how to diagnose this?

Hello, i am trying to make a paintjob for the new Mercedes Actros MP2 version 4.0 by Dotec, i am trying to add it in to the database of Mods studio 2, by clicking "Load vehicle from mod" but when i select Dotec's MP2, it says: "Could not find any vehicles. Did you select the correct mod or folder?" Help would be appreciated

Hi. I have a problem, when I open folder in 7-zip opener and search ModsStudio.exe I click on it and then open 2. card which asks me "ModsStudio.exe can endanger your Pc". Then I click open anyway and nothing happens next. My Notebook specs. WIN 8.1, Intel Pentium, 4Gb RAM, 256GB ROM. Please help.

you need to extract the zip and then run it. if its still blocking it you will need to whitelist it in your anivirus software.

I have a suggestion, or maybe the option is already there and I do not know it. would it be possible to get more descriptive accessory names in Mod Studio 2? Now only the "Name" variable is used when importing a mod. But many mod have accessories with very generic names. Would it be possible to show the accessory_addon_data string as well?

This is being developed slowly for all default trailers and trucks.
