[ATS/ETS, TOOL] Mods Studio 2 v.2024.01 [16.03.2024]

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

All default xmls can be found in "C:\Mods Studio 2\Data\ModData\SCS\Vehicles".

All custom created xml templates can be found in "Documents > Mods Studio 2 > UserVehicles".

I can't locate an xml for the Western Star with sleepers. (?)

I got the above Error Message after I downloaded the latest version. All I was trying to do was import my saved project.

EDIT - This was a Norton 360 issue, simply adding an exception for MS2 fixed this :)

Traffic Trailer Help

Trying to get a traffic trailer to work.
Managed to work it out with new MS2 2021.02.

  • Fixed filenames of .mat files so they can be uploaded to Steam Workshop
  • Fixed vehicle editor not allowing dot (.) in internal names
  • Fixed missing spawn ratio in some traffic trucks definition files
  • Updated vehicle XML files with new 1.40 SCS internal names
  • Fixed export issue with ATS rear trailer mudflaps
  • Fixed issues with ETS2 trailer mudflaps
  • Fixed issues with 53ft ATS cargo container

  • ETS2 traffic truck: Scania S 6x2 High Cab
  • ATS: added support for 3 new trailers (Food Tanker, Flatbed Curtain, Bulkfeed)

Hello @WerewolfCustoms ,

After i finished a skin for a friend of mine, i noticed that the program wasn't applying the same plain white texture from the normal painted rear fender cover to the one with the chrome strip while it should be... I used the same program, version and method of skinning before and had no bugs... Do you have an idea of what is causing this ??
