Patch from 1.4.4 to 1.4.5

#1 Post by Pavel » 14 Jul 2013 18:54

Trying to fix the fix of the previous fix...

Here is another incremental update, sorry for the chain of patches that are needed to be applied, but we would have quite an number of combinations to cover if we wanted to support patching everything over anything preceding it.

This build changes the following:

*) Fixes the toll gates and train crossings which got broken in 1.4.4
*) Fixed possible issues when memory pool is full.
*) Fix of a fix of the traffic light fix - finally!

Thank you!

Hello, I downloaded and now the toll is back in place. I would not want that now was the toll free as they do not charge me. I'm going for a subsidiary. :D

Thanks Pavel!

You're a brave men to make the builds available for us, and I enjoy having the benefits of it.

Thanks Pavel! I have just finished a delivery and I don't know if you guys were planning this, but it seems like the 'freezes' during auto-save have disappeared with this latest patch. The entire trip was silky smooth. The only slight lag I noticed was upon arriving in Milan when the message "Discovered Milan" flashed up on the screen, the framerate dropped for a fraction of a second. My system specs are in my signature. Tested in WinXP SP3 (fresh install).

Everything well Pavel, thanks for operational work on correction.
I pleased pneumatic pressure at a big consumption of air - perfectly.
There was a wish that you would work over a sound of signals for turn - to reduce loudness, is very noisy.
As to reduce the loudness of screen wipers.
Thanks for good work!

Hi Pavel.

This really is much better. Thank you for being so dedicated to ETS2 that you work on weekends :)

Please update the blog as well. A lot of people still use 1.4.3 because they don't know that 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 exist. They keep posting relating to the 1.4.3 patch. I have put in a couple of replies there to direct them to the new patches, but it might help, if there is an official blog post from SCS.

Regards,
BHS

It works so fine for me with that patch 1.4.5 and are gaming for hours now and having a blast with ETS 2 again. Thank you for your excellent good work, lads.

Gonna buy a Logitech G27 so my old and worn G25 with broken gearshifter can be replaced...and drive with manual gear again.
