Wobbly graphics

#1 Post by BHS » 15 Jul 2013 16:15

Patch 1.4.5

Sometimes I get some very wobbly graphics while driving. The surroundings move in shakes like if I have quite a fall in my framerate. I almost get seasick looking at it.

I shouldn't be experiencing any drop in framerates as I use a machine with I7 3.4GHz with 8GB of ram, and the only other thing I have open while playing is this forum.

Checking the joblist, I see that ETS2 is using a bit less than 1.1 GB ram with a max usage of a bit less than 1.2 GB, so it can't be a memory issue. Also the CPU usage is quite low. I'm running on W7 Home Premium 64-bit with Nvidia GeForce GT 530.

I haven't noticed this behaviour in earlier patches.

how old is your Hard Drive? I have found the hard drive has a place in stuttering, and also strangely the sound drivers.

I highly doubt that it has anything to do with drive which is the original 1TB drive, that came with the PC.

With the amount of ram the PC has, usage of the drive should be minimal between loads of map segments. Also I have no problems playing e.g. World of Warcraft on this PC. And that game is a bit more demanding on system resources than ETS2 is.

Yes, yes! I, too, everything was fine with the graphics when there was a version 1.3.1 there optimization better! But in a series of patches 1.4... Something bad was, but I think it's because of the beta version! I'm sure the full version will be excellent! :D :)
