Randomly losing job [2677]

Problem is occuring since v1.4.1. There have been numerous reports about this issue now.

Does anyone (in particular SCS employees) know if - and if yes, what - has been changed in the auto-save system? Finding the differences in code between 1.3.1 and 1.4.1 probably holds the key, as far as I see it.

I'm not updating my 1.3.1 installation until the bugs in 1.4.x are solved, even if I want to

I would like to know if this bug has been forwarded to SCS already so they can start looking into it.

We're almost on page 5 of this topic and it's clear that something needs to be done regarding this issue. Definitely one of those high priority bugs, if you ask me.

You guys are joking, right? I have a boxed version of the game with a genuine product key printed on the inside. There's also a second DVD in it featuring trailers of various other simulators too.

Perhaps your key has been banned? But I don't know. Write to SCS support about your key and problem.
Make sure that your .exe file is the original one and not tampered with.

It is not a joke. There is nothing that other members or moderators can do to fix this issue because it is not a bug in the genuine version of the game.

If you do have a genuine version of the game, try backing up your profile and install the full download from SCS website or Steam. Let us know how you go.

My key isn't banned because if it was, i wouldn't be able to play the game anymore, am i correct?

I always download the latest update from the official SCS website and use my product key to activate and play the game. There's no need for tampering with the executable.

Perhaps i should try out the full download as you suggested. Will remove all profiles and start from scratch just to make sure.

If you have original game (not corrupted or cracked .exe file) and original product key, game will never do this.. write me a mail with your key to michal /@/ scssoft.com I will make manual verification.
