Air Brake Simulation

Hi.

Not sure if this is a bug or if its me but I am having trouble experiencing the air brake simulation.

When I start a new game, I start the Scania R730 and I have a warning light stating that the air brakes are still activated and I would need to wait with the engine running. I wait and eventually it goes off. Now I have made several deliveries and rest stops and I have never had the warning light come on again.

Are there any gauges that show real time air brake pressure on the scania?

I have pumped my brakes for minutes to use up the air in order to lock the wheels due to lack of air pressure but I cannot get the warning light to appear.

Is there a simple test I can try?

I can't remember in a Scania, but in Volvo you can for sure look at air brake gauges while pumping the brake pedal and see the difference.

Ok I found out in order to pump out the air brakes you need to have the parking brake off. Pity the scania hasn't got any dials to indicate air pressure.

Ksrele has made a mod to fix your problem. I think it is a must have for Scania Drivers

Did you read the post just posted 2 hours before your reply? Use Ksrele's mod...

I installed it the day he released it. It's really useful...

note, that this is different dashboard type that we have in game.
could you get image with proper one? then we can make that correctly.

That image is just from the Scania website.
Maybe contacting Scania might help?

There was an image posted last week in one of these threads...

But the "real deal" has three sliding bars; one for the truck, one for the trailer and I couldn't read what the third one was for.
