New Profile
Not sure if this is a bug or not or even the right forum but when I compile a new profile and select Mouse steering in the wizard the game will not accept it. When I get to the truck for the 1st trip the mouse will only look around not move the steering wheel and I don't want to drive using the buttons.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: New Profile
Try borrowing a mouse from a friend and see if this is still the case... maybe there's some weird conflict or an unusual driver...
Retired, but still loving it.
Re: New Profile
Thanks for the tip. So far no good even after updating driver for the mouse. Will keep trying if and when I manage to solve the problem will post details.

Re: New Profile
I can confirm that. Tried to create new profile, choose mouse steering, game accepted that, but in very first mission mouse movement only moved camera, not wheel. When I got into options>controls, fall-down menu, where usually "keyboard" or "keyboard+mouse", etc, are located, was empty.
Tried on 2 different PCs with completely different hardware and software, and mices of Logitech, Genius and Microsoft brands.

Re: New Profile
But you have the controller option set to 'Wheel'. You can't have both Wheel and Mouse steering I guess.

Re: New Profile
Your guess could be correct as far as I know, but joke is I didn't set that option. Game did. I chose everything like I did it before - opted for mouse steering, yet somehow it doesn't work anymore. Screen presented is first visit into options screen after new profile's creation. And it cannot be wheel's override, because I never had one.

Re: New Profile
Problem solved, in the picture of the controller options screen the cursor is on the top right hand sitting on top of a small arrow, click on this and the 3 controller options will come up. Click on the mouse steering one and all will be right. When you drive the mouse will steer correctly.
Thanks to 102 for the pictures.

2wozzie:
You're welcome.
But I think it's not solution, but workaround - solution is when game does everything right itself, like it did before.
Not game-breaker, though.

I used quote only because there is delay between me writing post and it's appearance on page. So if someone would post something, it could be quote... interesting, if not humorous. I understand you removed it because no one posted.
No offence meant.

Re: New Profile
The delay was from me (or another moderator) having to approve your first posts (anti-spam policy)
From now on, though, this is no longer necessary, I think.

I appreciate what you do and I hope I'll live up to expectation.
I understand and have no problems with premoderation. Though I must admit, I do have a habit of dividing quoted post on several smaller parts when I reply on rather complicated question. I hope I won't create too much problems for you or your colleagues, if such case arises and will be considered "excessive".
