I agree with you @ResTed. It would be great if the mileage one that uploaded to the WoTr website was the one on this final job screen showing what you actually went through with the truck running. But, it is not up to us, we will wait for something from SCS.
By the way, I would like to congratulate you and @DTML for the ets2 online website, I like statistics and I thought it was wonderful! I gave feedback to DTML via Steam and apparently it was well accepted, and even put the credits of the original idea to don and me. Thank you very much!

I know the world of trucks is still in the alpha. How long will it stay in the alpha?
I believe he started in 2016. Look at how long they have already, they need to pay a little more attention to the platform. I believe to make a change of this km count is not difficult.

The distance of WOT contract must be the min(km drived, original WOT distance).

I think it's no difficult to make it so.

I agree Kreti. This is precisely the problem with WoTr.
The WoTr register in your profile the KM of the trip, which shows you on the screen before starting the job. Like ResTed say, the correct thing would be for him to register what he shows on the final screen, which was the one drove by land.

I do not agree that the distance driven on land always counts, but the minimum between that distance and the original distance of the WOT contract.

You can go from Barcelona to Valencia directly, or go through Madrid first, and that extra distance should not count.

Even if you follow the specified route, the distance does not always match.

Speaking about the route, you should not forget that there are several types of route creation, which means that there will be different distances.

In fact, it would be interesting to know what @SCS-Software thinks about this issue.

I think that with vanilla map only, the specied route has the same distance. With map mods, this distance can be different, bacause can be alternative shorter routes. SCS don't know distances for every map combo combination.

In my opinion it would be the actual amount you drive with a limit based on the load you take. Like if you take a load of 1000 km you will only accept about 1300 km. Regarding the use of map mods: only cities that are on the original game map will be accepted, avoiding giant mod travels.

My line of thinking is similar to that of Mastine. You take a job of 1000km but was drove by land 1500km for example, the WoTr website would record the initial KM (1000), as it was the route that the 'dispatcher' would pay for it, for example. The additional 500km adds up to the ingame personal profile experience but does not go up to the World of Trucks Mileage. However, if on another 1000km route you skip 800km by ferry, an example, only registers in your personal mileage at WoTr profile the 200km traveled by land, since by a personal and perhaps financial choice, you skipped 800km by ferry. I think that would make more sense.

if you skip the 800km by ferry then the 500km extra by land should be counted as well, you cant omit extra mileage but at the same time you are perfectly fine with omitting not driven mileage

the rang listing of SCS should count EVERY driven KM, this is how a rang listing works and not omit something, if they want to do it even more correct they would write down how much is driven on land and how much distance was done via ferry/train
