Re: Poll: "Hall of Fame" most km/miles
They don't need to replace current drivers, they can just add more as needed.
The problem with this idea is that this is essentially an all ages game, but you have to legally give permission for SCS to use your likeness in their games, so anyone under 18/16 wouldn't be able to send in their photo. I know when I sent in my photo that I had to declare they could use my likeness. For people between 13-16/18 parental consent would probably be required, 12 and under I am not sure they would be allowed to even with parental consent. Age laws can be quite complex.
While it's a nice idea, it could be restrictive to certain age groups which wouldn't really be fair to all the people who reach such a goal.

I reserve the right to be 100% wrong.
But on my tombstone when I go, just put 'death by rock and roll'.

Voted no
To many times I've seen on other games how that kind of public charts end degenerating on an e-penis competition. Not necessary at all.
I buy though the etrusan version of the idea. Public general statistics of the whole WoT community combined. The average mileage, average per day, the most used trucks, trailers, the most and less transported cargoes, the more usual routes...
That could give us an insight of what does the people like more of the game and how they use to play. We could compare with our own, but without create a classification to "fight" for.

In Basic, yes……
But i think, it not a good Idea. Then will Player start to find a Cheat to be in Place 1 in List like they do in SpedV.
It will be great to make it on Events. After Event present the Players with most Km, Tons, Jobs, longest Job.

Don't know if it will be a good idea for events too.
In some events there will be no problem, but let's take that Goodyear one now in progress. Let's suppose that it closes exactly at 300.000 deliveries and nobody else could opt to the free DLC. Now a week later the top chart of deliveries done appears with several people having done 60, 70 or more deliveries. That would mean the anxiety of those persons to have the DLC as soon as possible caused lots of other people to couldn't opt to the prize.
Not a good way to make friends, if you ask me.

Re: Poll: "Hall of Fame" most km/miles
I think some players like you use some flaws in WoTr to be in 1st place)) Here cheats are not needed to increase the mileage of your account ... It is enough to take the cargo and use the ferries (but WoTr makes a land route), thereby reducing way. How to explain that your account has more than 9 million km of mileage, and the time spent for delivery is just over 4000 hours??? It takes about 40 minutes (in ETS) of real time or more to complete a delivery of 1000 km.
3 hours - 4000 km
6h - 8000km
............
384 h - 512,000 km
768 h - 1,024,000 km
So, to overcome the mileage of 1,000,000 km, you need about 750 hours of real time or more. Let's look at your statistics in ETS2)) About 8.5 million km, about 3550 hours spent... It's impossible! By mathematical calculation that it will take about 6350 hours to cover 8.5 million km! Your profile is not honest. When the SCS can fix this, as is done in TrucksBook, then the mileage matters. I took delivery for 2000 km, swam across to Travemunde - there were about 850 km left to drive, 850 and should be counted towards statistics, and not all 2000, as now. For me personally, an indicator of the coolness of a player is - "time on duty", It's impossible to cheat!!!
Re: Poll: "Hall of Fame" most km/miles
I have 2,830,765 km on count but I vote no. I lost too many nerves and time to get both games 100% map and make this distance. I have in both games start new profiles to acctualy have fun from game not stress about how many km I have done or did I discover whole map. This is not stupid shooting game where kill counter is most important. This is simulator where milage is "side effect" of this driver job.

Wot doesn't show the clear statistics, only external contracts cargo mileage counts, plus I don't like the idea of making a competition out of this deal
