I personally think that it could use a boost to 70MPH, just like with how the retirement age was increased to 70 some time ago, in parts of Australia at least.

They must give us at least 70mph speed limit

A run from Salt Lake to Phoenix takes around an hour when driving 78mph, imagine going that distance at 65mph it will take an hour and half or more than that

I stopped using WoT because of the speed limit

Given that 65mph is 83% of 78mph, I think an extra half an hour or more travel time in this instance is a bit of an exaggeration... ;)

Supersobes, that's day time you're showing. Show night time speed limits. Night time is with the 5mph slower limit for certain States out west. That's what WOT is limiting us to all day long.... 24 hours a day in "game".

I too think there needs to be a change in WOT's player speed limit of 65mph max. I'm doing the Covid-19 Cause and AI trucks are passing me while I'm stuck at 65mph during the day. Also with the new States we now have 80mph speed limits for cars. That's 15mph slower for us. IRL it doesn't work that way. 5mph less than the posted max speed limit in WOT/ATS for the States West of the Mississippi that have it would be acceptable. For all the rest, equal speed limits as in real life.

If the night time speed limit for cars is 70, it's 65 for trucks. If 75, it's 70 for trucks. I've always said that if a driver IRL in a 4 wheeler is half a sleep at night, is playing with his phone, or some other thing is distracting them, 5mph slower for trucks is an accident waiting to happen. And I've seen it happen at night out West. Not a pretty sight. Tho it is a good thing was have smarter AI. Thank God we don't have speed limits IRL like that here where I live East of the Mississippi.

I won't do anymore WOT runs. It's nuts. My Covid-19 runs will be deleted too.

In my opinion,65 mph for ATS and 90 km/h for ETS 2 is fine enough.I play with the speed limiter turned on anyway. To me,it's not a racing game(but that's just me,because i don't have the right to tell people how to play their games).

@GT182 Most states are getting rid of nighttime speed limits. Texas and Montana already have, and other states are fixing to do the same as well.

@parasaurolophus67 No, it means that the speed limit at night is the same as during the day.

They're getting rid of signs like this one.

Different states do it for different reasons. Most of the states that have a nighttime speed limit do it because there's wildlife around the highway that is more active at night. Other states do it simply due to the lack of illumination on the road.
