Re: How many "vanilla" gamers are we?
For someone who has been with ETS2 almost from the beginning, I can say that the game is getting more and more vanilla friendly. Definitely
Re: How many "vanilla" gamers are we?
For me, it depends on the definition of "vanilla". I've always taken it to mean "no 3rd party mods", meaning as long as the mod folder is empty, it's vanilla.
The choices in the poll indicate otherwise?

The poll alternative Yes, I stick to ETS2 with the official DLCs (Going East and Scandinavia+++) means the game is vanilla when the mod folder is empty.
Edit: I changed the mentioned poll option so it now says Yes, my mod folder is empty and will be so for all eternity.

Although I did cast my vote, I'm actually meaning more "for the past and the foreseeable future" than eternity.
If "THE killer-mod" appears, I may change my mind.
My install is now pure vanilla-basic.
But when I have explored and seen it all, I plan to add the SCS extra maps (no truck or other gadgets), East, Scandi, France etc

Re: How many "vanilla" gamers are we?
well, I have a foot in both camps then because I have a vanilla profile (the entire Documents folder in fact) that has never had mods in it as well as my "default" Documents folder with all my mods.
I enjoy both.

I am clearly NOT a Vanilla gamer, everything i have comes from mods: Trucks, Maps, Tuning, Cabin Accessories, Trailers etc etc etc
Re: How many "vanilla" gamers are we?
I have a "clean" profile too
Sometimes good to play without mods

As a beta tester I of course have one vanilla profile which I enjoy playing on.
Though for ETS2 I have a lot of mods, mostly skins and trailers with the odd truck from the well known modders.

I don't really do because I don't like the vanilla sound of the trucks, if I play vanilla only with soundmods but further nothing else.
