Should SCS add the Oregon style speed limit signs that don't include the word 'LIMIT'? I seems that ODOT isn't putting them up anymore. They don't bother to change all the old signs (exept when raising the speed limit), but all new signs have the word 'LIMIT'.

Here a discussion thread about it: https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=9879.0
Knowing SCS, they won't mix and match the signs according to which ones say 'LIMIT' in real life and which ones don't. In the in-game version of Oregon, probably ALL the signs will say 'LIMIT' OR ALL the signs won't say 'LIMIT'.
EDIT: Other sources suggest that Oregon 'SPEED' signs are a speed recommendation because they don't contain the word 'LIMIT'.

Re: Oregon state research
From page 24 of ODOT Traffic Sign Design Manual:
"SPEED LIMIT XX signs are to be used for all applications on the interstate, in school zones or within city limits. The SPEED XX signs are to be used for all applications other than these."
It think that SCS could easily reflect this in the game.
Something else that could be reflected on the road signs is the fact that Oregon Interstates don't use business routes; instead, Interstate 5 uses Oregon SR 99 and Interstate 84 uses US 30 as business routes.

Re: Oregon state research
From what I have seen in the previews of Oregon on SCS' YouTube channel, they have not reflected this in the game and all of the speed limit signs are in the "SPEED LIMIT XX" format. There are actually a lot of missing road signs and road markings in the videos of Oregon, so I hope when SCS goes to correct those, they will add the "SPEED XX" format signs where they are appropriate.
If any of the SCS Staff are reading this thread, I would encorage them to give the link in the post above for the ODOT Traffic Sign Design Manual to the road sign artists for ATS.
