I am seriously hoping that although, SCS can't physically come to Wyoming this go around (not that I'd think they would for this state) but I hope that team Colorado can help with their experience since they did come here. Yes, its a totally different state they came to research but with a topography map, Google references, youtube videos (the typical references), I just hope Wyoming can get the elevations its has in the places where its needed. Wyoming can't afford misses like Idaho and Utah if people are to buy it so quickly. I'm really not buying the we can't at 1:20 scale anymore when it comes to squeezing in elevations. Colorado is perhaps the worst one to pull it off and the devs made it look easy. I am sure it wasn't by any means but great job. To for Wyoming and for any state of this matter, elevation matters.

I hope we finish out the West strong in regards to terrain and landscaping designing them. Wyoming and Montana are gorgeous natural states and quality wise, I am confident SCS will do great but depicting these environments is a little of a concern. I've mention it a few times but the West is all about "elevation". Oh did I mention the West has lots of elevation :D.

i hope we get to see our first clearview signage in the game with wyoming. so far it looks like it's not coming, but u never know.

edit: i now know from natvander why clearview isnt used, because a font needs to be license-free in order for it to be used

As of 2017, Wyoming no longer uses Clearview. The switched back to Highway Gothic fonts. Here is a list of the states that use or have used Clearview as well as where and when they used it.

I hope this video is very informative about the cargo possibilities on the routes through Yellowstone National Park.

1. Route: North Salt Lake, UT, Yellowstone National Park, Billings, MT.
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxR6tK2RpLg

The likely route: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/North+S ... 0?hl=pt-br

Bison and semi-truck: Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0C8bkT3NEWY

So far, I haven't been able to find a video that a few years ago (and this is no more than two years old) where I watched on YouTube: ''A vehicle driver has in front of him a truck that pays to enter the national park, and travels freely ... but without the trailer''. Maybe SCS Software can contact the logistics company and find out what the process is to obtain a freight truck traffic license through the national park, and maybe SCS Software can get in touch with the company's truck driver and find out how the procedures are carried out to obtain authorization for trailer truck traffic through the national park.

I hope this video can be very useful, and also contribute to a positive controversy (for us to evolve American Truck Simulator).
This is very interesting information, which perhaps reduces the perception that: ''you cannot use trucks in the national park''. Reading the news it seems that during the summers in Mammoth Springs, inspections are carried out on commercial vehicles, which circulate on the National Park highways (the routes connecting the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho).

Citation:
''The inspections are intended to ensure the safe operation and mechanical soundness of commercial buses and trucks on Yellowstone’s roadways.''

Particularly when reading the researched content, I come to a very personal conclusion, that it is possible for SCS Software to insert some types of payloads, and their special permissions within the exceptionally allowed categories. This includes transportation of fuels and other materials and products exclusively via the US191 highway.

Below are some realistic ideas of loads that can be transported by semi-trailers and their trucks in Yellowstone National Park:

Long-haul route: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.2772 ... 0?hl=pt-br

The electric mini self-contained bus that was tested in Yellowstone National Park belongs to the ''BEPP brand". The vehicle is produced in only two factories (Chandler - AZ, Knoxville, TN) in the United States. The autonomous minibus is actually a type of product that complies with some guidelines that SCS Software made public some time ago (Display assets and vehicles that collaborate with environmental preservation, reduction of pollution, and are innovations). I believe that besides being very interesting the mini autonomous electric bus, it also allows for an absolutely incredible long-haul route, using the state of Arizona as the starting area, in a route where the player can deliver it to the national park as a destination.

Below are some product suppliers for existing commercial establishments within Yellowstone National Park.

Philipsburg , MT. Delivery suggestion: Mineral water (origin)..
The small town of Pittsburgh, Montana, has a factory ( company: 'Philipsburg Brewing Co'.) in Montana Silver Springs, that produces mineral water for restaurants and bars Yellowstone National Park ( Restaurant - Canyon Eatery) in Canyon Village.

Kelsi's Kitchen, (ID our UT) Delivery suggestion: chocolate (origin)
This is very interesting Economic information. There is a chocolate factory ( Kelsi's Kitchen. website: https://kelsiskitchen.com/ ) that supplies its products to Yellowstone National Park. The network of chocolate destinations covers more than 60 cities (https://kelsiskitchen.com/pages/store-locator) in total. Covers cities in the following states: California, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming (Teton Village, Canyon Village, Mammoth -Yellowstone National Park). So far it has not been possible to accurately identify the specific location of the Chocolate Factory in the year 2021. Originally located in Idaho Falls (Idaho). The company transferred or expanded production to Utah. Possibly in the city of Bluffdale (Utah), currently.

Canyon Village, WY. Delivery suggestion: foods (destiny), mineral waters (destiny), chocolate (destiny).
Economically it has: campsites, commercial store, tourist rental lodges), gas station, and mainly restaurants. Searching on Google Maps, it is possible to observe from the satellite image that one of the restaurants has even a cargo pack for semi trailer trucks.
Crossing the information comes to the conclusion that the restaurant receives some goods such as mineral water from the state of Montana and chocolates from the state of Utah or Idaho.

Crossing the researched information, it is concluded that the restaurant receives some goods such as; mineral water from the state of Montana, and chocolates from the state of Utah or Idaho.

Roosevelt (Village), WY. Roosevelt Service Station. Delivery suggestion: fuels.
The commercial establishment (gas station). It is emblematically found at a crossroads of major road junctions within the national park. It is a strategic support point, connecting via the grand to the Grand Loop Road: US 89, US14, US 202.
Localization:

Roosevelt (Village), WY. Delivery suggestion: rations and hay (for horses).
Roosevelt Corrals:
The rural establishment (Ranch) is dedicated to the practice of tourist activities, whose main attraction is horseback riding for tourists to explore some routes in the national park. Certainly the troop of horses that the ranch has need food supplements to the animals.
Localization:

Mammoth (Village), WY. Delivery suggestion: foods (destiny), mineral waters (destiny), chocolate (destiny), natural gas (destiny).
Mammoth Terrace Grill.
Look at the satellite image on Google Maps. Note 2 large gas cylinders. Possibly when observing an annex adjacent to the main structure of the commercial establishment, be it a cargo deck.
Localization:
https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9761271 ... ?hl=pt-brG

Note: There are other very interesting commercial spots especially gas stations in Canyon village and Mammoth, and could be added to allow for more cargo and realism, with products that are permissible for entry to villages within the park, with regular access permission, by the park authority.

Thank you all who contributed into this topic!

As mentioned in the beginning, we could not include all the ideas but I believe our map designers tried their best!

As Wyoming was released feel free to post any ideas for rework.

Please be aware, we can't guarantee that we'll use the research you give us. Better to take it as a kind of "rework wishlist".

Once more, thank you very much!

I still have beef with the unfinished highway that's finished in real life.
