I just skimmed over a few of the comments, but with the colorado dlc coming out. Will scs please address the weather, because colorado would be a very good example of having very different weather in many different locations going on all at once.
Just giving example, there has been many trips that Ive gone through Co, and going up I-25 through colorado springs and it would be raining there, up to denver, then start heading west on I-70 climbing in elevation to the Eisenhower tunnel and just on the west side coming out of the tunnel, its snowing, start going back down in elevation and by the time I would reach Grand Junction, it would be in the high 80's to 90s. All this weather going on in the middle of the summer

I hope it can be useful for SCS when doing the Colorado DLC or later on it is recorded in the information.

Red Rocks Ampitheatre, Morrison, CO, Near Denver.

let's leave a research tip, about an important historical landmark that is very close to the city of Denver.
Maybe it's interesting to put in the game, maybe the use of aerial sockets will allow players in the ATS game to take some good screenshots and make videos on the spot, to have a scenic view of the region and the city of Denver ... or something in that sense. Perhaps it is possible to observe the landscape very well.

Garrison Minerals LLC
This company is very interesting because it offers several types of mineral products to serve different types of industries destined for; paper and cellulose manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and nutritional industry, treatment of polluted water, cosmetics and hygiene industry . Very interesting. Garrison Minerals LLC is a supplier of alkaline materials, specializing in magnesium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, magnesium oxide, calcium hydroxide.
Site: https://www.garrisonminerals.com/

It allows new types of cargo to be sent to industries, in something that can be better researched. There are many types of mineral exploration and raw materials, in addition to the traditional ones (coal, copper, gold) and that can be in the ATS.

It was not possible to find the mining areas themselves in this research, but ... the company's website states that it has mineral exploration areas, and also carries out the industrialization of these minerals: Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium carbonate, Brucite.

Localizations: 11
Austin (Texas), Cheyenne (Wyoming), Crandall (Geórgia), Denver (Colorado), Houston (Texas), Minneapolis (Minnesota), Oxnard (Califórnia), Phoenix (Arizona), Price (Utah), Sully (Iowa), Wellsville (Ohio).
https://www.garrisonminerals.com/locations

The mineral Brucite is found in: Brewster in New York, Wood's Mine in Texas, Gabbs in Nevada, Crestmore in California Berks Co in Pennsylvania.

Not sure if SCS will still look in here now that CO is out, but I noticed that Sterling, Colorado uses an old street layout. Starting early last year, CoDOT rerouted SH 14 through the town for better traffic flow.

Old layout of Sterling, and what we have in game:

Current layout of Sterling:

Thank you all who contributed into this topic!

As mentioned in the beginning, we could not include all the ideas but I believe our map designers tried their best!

As Colorado was released feel free to post any ideas for rework.

Please be aware, we can't guarantee that we'll use the research you give us. Better to take it as a kind of "rework wishlist".

Once more, thank you very much!

The newest map (except for Wyoming) is already planned for a rework? Wouldn't it be best to handle the oldest sections first?
