Re: [TRAFFIC SIGNAGE] Speed limit signs in the US
In Mississippi, Speed Limit signs are nothing special.
Interstate-grade highways (controlled access without at-grade intersections) have a speed limit of 70 mph max, with a signed minimum speed limit of 40 mph. The minimum speed limit is listed on all MS interstate signs. The maximum speed limit can also go down if the interstate starts getting curvy through the middle of a city.

Non-interstate grade highways have a maximum speed limit of 65 mph.
2 lane highways in rural areas have a maximum speed limit of 55 mph.
I'm not gonna post signs of the other two because they don't differ from the standard "Speed Limit" signs used throughout the US. The only thing of note really is the minimum speed limit is signed on every interstate-grade highway, which not every state does.

Re: [TRAFFIC SIGNAGE] Speed limit signs in the US
there was a speed limit increase on rural Oklahoma highways not long ago
On Oklahoma Normal Rural Highways
[ external image ]
On Oklahoma Rural Turnpikes it is 80 MPH
On the City Highways and turnpikes they are the same before the increase
here are what school speed limit signs look like in much of Oklahoma
