There are issues with road signage in all the ATS states, but specifically the state route shields in Arizona and New Mexico are okay. natvader is a hard working guy, and based off of the screenshots in the most recent ATS blog, he is doing a great job, so hopefully the road signage issues will start to be fixed.

I wouldn't trust anything he does. He turned to the dark side...

You're doing a great job Natvander and look forward to seeing proper signage in the future. Tell me is there a set person who deals solely with ETS2 signage like you do with ATS?

I didn't see Texas in here or I may have scrolled past or something, but here is the state highway shield (white square) and the Farm-to-Market shield (texas shape).

I've seen this post for Arkansas highways (I'm too late to the party!) viewtopic.php?p=1104858#p1104858

I just wanted to add that Arkansas does NOT do 4-digit highway numbers (I also don't think we do letter'd numbers like 65b or anything). Single and double digit numbers are on the single-width sign (as seen on the 10, 15, 84, and 89) while triple use the wider sign (as seen on the 171). All standalone signs use the black rounded square background.

Thank you for the contribution but to be hones, I'm bit lost in the numbers. [ external image ] Could you add some links or images? Cheers!

Anything in particular?
Arkansas numbers their highways much like any other state does. The only difference is that we don't have letters on them and the highest we go is triple digit.

Kraake, do you guys own a Rand McNally Motor Carriers book yet. It will be clearer to read it than looking at Google Maps as far as truck routes. It shows the shields, circles or bubbles nicely. The trick to US roads is Interstates and US highways are one of a kind. There is only one in the entire US. Although loops and spurs fall under the Interstate shield, they can repeat in other states.

Now all other roads like State Highways, Farm to Market, etc, those can be duplicated in another state but that state's silhouette or state abbreviation is what dictates what state (x) road is in. I am sure natvander or supersobes our two best sign experts on here can clarify my statement and/or correct anything if I have misspoken.

I forget -- are the Idahoan I-86 and the New York I-86 considered to be the same "route"? I'm pretty sure the two halves of US 2 are but in this case I don't know.

Less pertinently, is there an actually good reason why the Idahoan I-86 is called that instead of something like I-384 or I-115? It's not like a similar stretch in Kansas is called I-33...
