Yeah it was bad. I haven't hauled end dump though. I guess really just because what people say about them blowing over in the wind and it's really windy where I like all the time, so I haven't gave it a shot.

This was after finally getting it empty enough to call it good, stuff was frozen to it.

Also posting these because I realized in todays blog that the hoppers in ATS don't have a wall in the middle so hopefully they will see this and fix it at some point.

Doesn't take much wind for a frameless to go over at all.

There are two types of end dumps....Those that have laid over and those that haven't yet.

I've had DDG get stuck in the nose before. Thankfully it wasn't a lot. That is what happens when it gets loaded hot. Had to lower the box and shovel it loose.

I had it do that the only time I hauled it in a hopper, even vibrators didn't help. I was there for at least 3 to 4 hours.

yeah that's about my average with that stuff in the hopper too. The front bay was the same way.
And lol yeah here it's usually around 20mph winds every day and gusts even higher. 2 days ago we had gusts hitting 80mph

I know how it gets in your neck of the woods, I would rather have a hopper bottom over a end dump with the wind you get. The secret to dumping in the wind is the dump with the wind hitting the front and not the side. Not always possible to do though.

yeah, that's why I've stayed away from them. Crazy part is still a lot of end dumps rolling around here. Maybe someday I might give it a shot but otherwise I don't see me pulling one here lol

Couldn't pay me enough money to pull a end dump in 50 plus mph wind. I would get nervous just by being on unlevel ground.

In regards to your load % thought, that would be pretty cool to implement..........if it contributed to allowing us to overload our trailers and allow the scales to be part of the game. Do hoppers have fixed or sliding tandems? Loading zone, yeah that would be cool too. Multiple areas on the farm in which we can deal with. I like multi purpose prefabs. Things get repetitive if we pick up and drop off in the same spot for every single prefab. A little diversity is good.

@flight50 fixed tandems. Only tandems that slide are on dry van and reefers. Some flatbeds have a sliding tandem but most are spreads.

Dry vans and reefers, got it. I always kinda thought that but I also don't know all the trailer types out there are to have accuracy in that thought.
