North American Agriculture Discussion
Posted: 08 Mar 2020 01:25
I have mentioned a time or two on here that I was interesting in starting up an Agricultural thread. One thing for sure is that as SCS moves out of the Mountain States and into the Great Plains and beyond, the more Agriculture freight can be added. Ag freight can be huge for ATS for new and existing states. I am sure some things can even be used for ETS2 as well. But since I am American, I am posting here on the ATS side of the forum as its easier research for me to bring forth things I am aware of.
I am not in the Ag business by any means so I am sure I will be missing some things. This is were you guys come into play. Add whatever you can to this discussion pertaining to anything Ag related. What I do intend to accomplish is bring awareness and add cargo and more....cargo and more....cargo, lol. If we provide as much info as we can, this gives SCS ideas to increase cargo and provide a much needed cargo library for ATS. Some things may even be more appropriate for staged models scattered thru out the ATS map but SCS can determine that. So what do you see on farms or other establishments.
If there is anything I am missing (which I expect) or anything additional that you may feel can come to the ATS Agricultural industry, please feel free to add to this discussion. I am adding the common things that has the best chances to make the game. Share pics, elaborate on why you think ATS should have what you provide, what trailers are used, where can this cargo be found, are you a trucker or former trucker with knowledge. What have you hauled from where and to where. Anything and everything is welcome to spread awareness.
Agriculture is the science/art of cultivating livestock and plants and there is plenty of it to go around in ATS. There are several branches that falls under these two parts. These parts are logging, dairies, raising fish and animals, growing crops, hatcheries, ranches and the many different farms across the lands. With this, also comes the equipment and supplies to keep all this going. Lets get started shall we.

The following charts are old but the graphic and spread is what I am trying to bring awareness to
