Garage numbering issue

With all the added features since first release, it could make a small difference. I don't know. I'm not a programmer. All I know is that there have been several updates since release, yet the minimum requirements remain the same.

Still, I imagine that this would be something worth looking into and fixing, if possible.

Do your HOME garage change to the latest garage you bought?
Or is it only the symbolic number of the garage that changes?
And what can you do or not do because of this?

No. my home garage doesn't change and yes, only ordinal number changes.
To clear issue once and for all this is how my garages look now:

And this is how they look once I buy my fourth garage:

As you can clearly see Grimsby garage have moved all others.
I can do everything that I did before, it only brakes my garage buying pattern.
Also this wasn't how it worked before, that's why I noticed it.

And if your sort your garages after ect. free spots or anything else, does the numbers then still follow the garage or does the number then changes again.

EDIT: Have now been testing it, it seems like the number or rather where the new garage is insert into the list is random.
Sometimes, the new garage gets no. 1 next time it gets last number, and so on. I don't know if this is a bug.

But I did found out something different. That if you have garage from a map mod which is disabled, the game crash if you try to sort your garage.

okay let me try to explain it to you,
I'll show you some screenshots i took, there is nothing wrong with the game on my end!
the window in-game screen will show you, your Company/Garage Productivity, it breaks down in sections to show you all the detail information every Hour in-game.
Your HQ and other Garages will move from first to last. Just Because your HQ is the First Garage you brought it doesn't mean it's number one.

Yes i have, he is saying his HQ is not the 1 Garage any more and that it keeps moving all over there place i'll be glad to screenshot when my HQ is in the 1 ok
Just a Example London was the last Garage. witch would be ...Number 13 but it's in the 3th place now.

I've been buying my 4th garage in different cities (by reloading saves) and it's not random. The last one I buy becomes number 1.

I appreciate the effort you made by making all those screenshots but as Unco said, you weren't paying attention. Look again at my screenshot and look at the cities and corresponding garage numbers in both screenshots.
In your case the numbers doesn't change (Luxembourg is always #1), just order by using filter. In my case numbers change (Praha being #1 in first and #2 in second screenshots). If you buy new garage it'll be number #14, if I do so it'll be #1, and move others like Grimsby did in second screenshot.

Let's make it simple. If you buy new garage, which according to your screenshots, is going to be number 14, will it have 14 in # column or 1?
