I just want to say that (according to this post:
viewtopic.php?p=140057#p140057) SCS are experimenting with the shaders and that is what causes all these issues. Beta testing (especially public beta testing) is there to hi-light any potential problems that arise with these changes before the rest of the player base gets these changes.
If you are going to complain about things not working (read, bitch about it) in a beta then you shouldn't run the beta builds.
Just be nice about it and highlight the issues that you have encountered, no need to argue about it.
As for those players who are not running the beta builds, same thing here. Don't tell people not to report beta issues on the basis that "but it will be fixed in the official release" because the only reason you are relatively bug free in the official releases is because beta testers tell SCS about their findings. This is the sole reason SCS makes the beta available to the public so more eyes are on the subject matter that can catch these things before they are officially implemented.
...
Point is, don't mix your personal feelings into this process. Don't argue about it, just give detailed information about what you see happening and stay objective.
On extended hiatus.
