Max has already advised you at least twice this is due to a bad mod, check to make sure your mods are not outdated, as this is the usual cause.
It's also been suggested you post your entire game log using pastebin.com - the parts you've posted aren't useful to diagnose any further than what's already been advised.
If you post the whole lot, MAYBE someone might suggest a particular mod you could remove/update.
Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
Re: Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
The mod's versions that I use are actual (4.7 TSM Map & 1.6.2 ProMod) - separately and nothing else.
Ok here's the link to full log (with TSM Map) but there was the same problem with ProMods.

Re: Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
So exactly what has said before:
1) It's a problem with the map generating errors, and using more memory than you have available.
2) For whatever reason you have a 32-bit version of Windows 8 installed, and what looks like 4GB of physical RAM that's virtually stripped down to 3.25GB due to the memory hole limitations of 32-bit. If you install the x64 version of Windows 8 (it comes on the same disk) it will probably help since it will be able to utilise the full 4GB.

Re: Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
I have the exact same error with ProMods on an XP system with 4Gb (3Gb) using ETS2 v1.9.22 and ProMods v1.62.
I don't know where "-mm_pool_size" is used, if it is the command line then I don't have this entry:
"C:\Games\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\eurotrucks2.exe" -nointro
Should I add it?

Re: Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
no.
resp, you can try it, but my guess is it will only worsen the problem.

Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

Re: Failed to allocate vertex buffer [MOD]
Great idea! I did that a month ago, not I can utilize all 8 gig of installed memory. Game seems to be a lot more stable.jarvik79 wrote:So exactly what has said before:

Before doing that, make sure you run the Windows Upgrade Advisor. This is a Microsoft product and will
check to make sure your machine is ready for that upgrade to 64 bit.

Thanks Max, I will recheck the mod list as well.Max wrote:no.
