No @Reef, the image is resized to not mess up the graphics of the forum ...
However, I've never seen the front camera with flash (just because they can cause accidents) ...

Older radar models had regular flashes, that you could see. Governments don't give a rat's ass about your safety. They just want your money.
And, I've heard that new models don't have a flash. They have some sort of IR light source that illuminates the license plate and the vehicle. You usually won't see it with a naked eye. Of course, I could have heard wrong. Too lazy to research it.

Yes, there are infrared flashes out there, and it is enough to make a nice picture of the drivers face.WerewolfCustoms wrote: And, I've heard that new models don't have a flash. So better say "cheese" if you pass a cam. If you want to make a kind impression.
Re: Speed cameras on the contrary
They have. The first, red one, is the flash.
I got one or two, last year, on Pyhrn autobahn
I didn't know what happened, at first. They actually flash in red. Only when I looked at my navi screen I realized.
And, if we're talking flashes, ETS2 cameras have no flash either

Retired, but still loving it.

Yes, but aesthetically they have
Re: Speed cameras on the contrary
Cameras with flash are facing the oncoming traffic here... maybe I'm wrong too? (also they might be removed due to many complaints etc)Reef wrote:Yeah we have forward facing/activated cameras here in the UK too BUT!!! the type shown in MartinoPios screenshot is a rear facing/activated type.. The front facing ones are not flash cameras (for very obvious reasons) therefore it is an incorrectly placed camera model..
Actually after closer inspection of MartinoPios Potato computer generated screenshot (really 800x450 what do you play ets2 on? A calculator?) then its not a camera model I'm familiar with so who knows it could be right it could be wrong..
