Trailers give away motion when still

Not sure how to describe it, but when standing still with a trailer, after a few seconds it starts to make like a reversed hiccup motion.

I experienced that, too, after braking for a traffic light. As soon I stopped completely the truck moved backwards a bit. As being said like a hiccup. I thought it was normal behavior of some trucks, though, and didn't think further about it
(oh, and I didn't have a trailer at this moment)

what swede means is different thing.
you bounced from brakes/dampers - during braking they absorb some part of kinetic energy and if you release them in one exact moment (energy did not dissipated as heat yet, but you already stopped) you may move backwards. this do not happen if you press brake for a moment longer or shorter.
