The idea of 'zip-merging' is that you don't drive alongside other vehicles when you are close to the merging point. If an AI vehicle is closer to the merging point than your vehicle (even just a little closer), it assumes that you let him drive ahead of you. If this wasn't your case and you still think it is a bug, could you post a video reproducing it, please? We need it to successfully reproduce and fix it.GearJammer55 wrote:I think maybe IronRush is referring to the zip-merge situation, where traffic merges from 2 lanes into one, or at toll gates. Since the new AI in 1.10, it seems we must allow AI to move in front of us if it is alongside. The AI seem to be totally unaware of our presence, and will just move into our lane whatever
Again, a video would help us locating the bug. We need to see the exact situations when this occurs (e.g. how far the vehicle was, how fast did it drive...) If a vehicle drives much faster than you, it is possible that it doesn't slow down even if it sees you want to change lane (just like in real life). Of course it can be a bug and that is why we need to see exactly how it happendGearJammer55 wrote:Another situation is when changing lanes on major roads (moving to the left)
