It appears to be in a strait line, which makes it look like it's growing in the cracks on the roadway. I see that on roads all over California, so I wouldn't call it a bug. I would call it realistic details in the game.

Did you notice that the second post you cited is older than the first one? I still don't see this as a bug. Grass does grow in the cracks on highways. But even if it is a "bug", there are much worse problems that need to be dealt with, such as the atrocious truck physics. I would much rather see some grass growing on the roadway than barely touching a guardrail and having my truck and trailer suddenly go airborne in a violent crash.

Yeah, I saw where stepan said it was fixed. But as you pointed out yourself, it appears to be back. And I'm sorry you think my pointing out that the two threads you cited are backwards is off topic, but to my way of thinking, if you switched the placement of those two links in that post, it would be more accurate. If my telling you that has offended you, I apologize. That was not my intention.

I don't see how the chronology of the links I posted is relevant. Same issue at different locations on the map. One has been fixed, the other one hasn't. Looks to me like either an oversight or a bug that has been given low priority for one of the locations. I certainly wouldn't conclude that one is a bug and the other one isn't.

The off-topic remark refers to bringing physics issues into a graphical bug report.

The one that's solved was a terrain glitch beneath a road. And thus, unique.

The other one mentioned and this one is the same: it's in prefab "/prefab/cross/hw3-2_x_city2-1_uk.ppd". It doesn't occur on every instance of the prefab, so it might depend on what kind of vegetation is used in the local settings.
