Landing legs - not hidden [7961]

The following trailers show their landing legs as both, down & up when spawned at companies in game,
brick_trailer
gooseneck
krone\cool_liner
krone\profi_liner
schmitz\s_ki_solid
schmitz\universal
Screenshot,

The problem can also be seen in the Trailer browser,

When you connect & disconnect the trailer in question, the landing legs are down & the "up legs" are hidden like they should be.
I did search for this problem & apologize if it's a known one.

Re: Landing legs - not hidden
And I would really like to know what cause it.
For a while I assumed node "brace_on" with all states of the vehicle assigned to it will solve this. But in a stateless adaptation of the "fuel_trailer", derived from changes I once made for ETS 1, I have the same problem. Even if I assign the "Default" state to "brace_on".
No idea how this could be solved.

Re: Landing legs - not hidden
Its the same for these trailers utilizing brace on/off for open doors or curtain or unload state, they always both show from game load but if you attach and then disconnect then the brace off is invisible, as it should be.
Re: Landing legs - not hidden
This is visible in Trailer Browser, too, IIRC.
Retired, but still loving it.
Re: Landing legs - not hidden
Sorry Reinhard, I don't have a answer to your question. I do know, that of the trailers I looked at, without this problem, "Brace_off" is first in the hierarchy. However changing this had no effect on two trailers I modded. Some landing legs are in a state & some are not. Nearly all trailers seem to be laid out differently...there really doesn't seem to be a system for them (a bit like the trucks).Reinhard wrote:And I would really like to know what cause it.
I'm pretty sure I said that one mate, if notohaha wrote:This is visible in Trailer Browser, too, IIRC.

Re: Landing legs - not hidden
I saw the same with the few modded trailers from others. I checked for external and user.defined options too... Nothing. A puzzle.Turt213 wrote: However changing this had no effect on two trailers I modded. Some landing legs are in a state & some are not.
Would be really kind if someone could lift the curtain a bit, for a small peek into the forbidden city.

Are there any modded trailers that over-right one of these, that does not have this problem? If so, there might be a hint to solving this.Reinhard wrote:I saw the same with the few modded trailers from others. I checked for external and user.defined options too... Nothing. A puzzle.
yes would be niceReinhard wrote:Would be really kind if someone could lift the curtain a bit, for a small peek into the forbidden city.
Re: Landing legs - not hidden
Can't say, haven't tried more than a few. But this seems to happen with some original SCS trailers as well as mods made with Blender and Zmodeler.Turt213 wrote:Are there any modded trailers that over-right one of these, that does not have this problem?

Re: Landing legs - not hidden [7961]
Well this happened to me since 1.10 I guess but as I'm using tons of non-official trailers I thought it's only a problem of those - seems not.
For ingame trailers it's not that bad really - just a small leg glitch - although for some mod trailers it's really noticeable....

The smallest details always make the biggest difference.
